Introduction

First, Thank You for visiting my web page.

Yes. It’s my web page, but I am not really interested in making selfie-videos about me. I just happen to be there. I would rather make fun videos of colorful action, interesting places, great food, and odd animals.  But yes, I’m in the videos, and sometimes at center stage, but there will be some color or action in the background to make it interesting. I’m in the videos because, well… I’m all I got.

Why not YouTube, FaceBook, or Instragram? These are corporate sites and are becoming more intrusive. With this website I, and Gillesolutions.com, have tried to go that extra mile to provide a simple presentation of these videos without the big corporate entanglements.

As described on the Home page, I’ll try to make fun videos, with color, and motion. Beyond that, hopefully the videos can provide a sense of, and details of new places.

I enjoy all phases of making these videos, setting up the camera, finding what camera angles or mounting that best illustrate the motion or enhance the overall scene.  I even enjoy editing the videos. Editing provides a second level for the creative process.  I use Adobe Premier Pro, and this software provides features and capabilities that would’ve take weeks or months to accomplish with film only a few years ago. Even presentation of movies is much simpler. In the past, personal hand made movies had to be shown in the dark, with mechanical projectors, even then, real time sound was difficult.  And that’s the reason for the web page, to present the videos so others might enjoy them. In the new age of the internet, these videos can be seen by anyone, anywhere, the ultimate audience. So, the only thing missing, is the audience shared experience, the smell of popcorn, the laughter, or gasps. I don’t get to hear or see your reactions. This last element can be overcome by you. Please leave a comment, either good or bad, I appreciate all comments, especially if they point to details which could have been done better, or scenes that turned out great. Thanks again, and please leave a comment.
